Edwardo Martinez is a senior software engineer on the Opportunity Discovery and Technology Adoption team at Toyota Research Institute (TRI). Edwardo’s role is to help accelerate technology delivery from TRI’s research to early adopters and beyond.
Prior to his role at TRI, Edwardo was a member of the Strategy and Innovation team at Target, where he led the development of Target’s first voice assistant. He also directed engineering for Target’s public experiential retail lab store in San Francisco. In addition, he’s held numerous roles with startups and companies, ranging from developing a voice-based smart home product to consulting on large-scale distributed systems.
Edwardo received his B.S. in electrical engineering from Stanford University and M.S. in computer science from Georgia Tech.
