Dr. Abraham Anapolsky is a senior manager in the Energy & Materials division at Toyota Research Institute (TRI). At TRI, Dr. Anapolsky is responsible for managing the battery research portfolio, working with TMC Japan and our academic partners. Dr. Anapolsky also serves as a technical consultant for Toyota Ventures and leverages his experience in Silicon Valley to find and develop new opportunities and to promote Energy & Materials' mission to the broader tech community.

Dr. Anapolsky received a B.S. in physics from San Francisco State University and an M.S. and Ph.D. in materials science from The University of California, Berkeley. Dr. Anapolsky's experience in manufacturing and R&D focuses on materials engineering for renewable/clean energy, specifically batteries, PV, and magnetics for motor applications.
