Aimee Goncalves is a Mechanical Engineer on the Dexterous Manipulation team focusing on soft tactile robotics. She explores the intersection of highly deformable softness and sensing (making hard robots soft) for force-sensitive and force-aware whole-body manipulation and physical human-robot interaction.
Goncalves received her M.S. from the University of California, Berkeley and B.S from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, both in Mechanical Engineering.
