Interview Process
Step One: Application
  • Applications typically open up in the Fall for the following Summer’s internship program.
  • Most Summer positions are filled by the Spring of the following year.
  • The standard length of our summer internships is 12 weeks.
Step Two: Interview
  • TRI will notify you of your application status either way (whether it’s a rejection or you proceed to the next step).
  • The first interview is typically with the Mentor assigned to this opening.
  • Oftentimes, there will be 1-2 more interviews with team members to dig deeper into your skills, interests, and experience.
  • For some Summer Internships, the hiring team may ask you to put together a proposal for what you’d ideally like to work on over the summer.
Step Three: Offer
  • Should we proceed, your recruiter will call you to go over TRI’s job offer.
    • Our offers are standardized based on office location, degree level, and relocation status.
  • Summer interns start between May and July.
  • Upon acceptance of the internship offer, your recruiter will connect you via email with your Mentor & Hiring Manager.
  • While TRI does not offer formal summer housing options, your recruiter will share a location-specific Relocation Guide and an opt-in contact sheet where you can connect with other incoming interns.
Step Four: Onboarding
  • Your recruiter will introduce you to our HR Onboarding team, who will assist you with all remaining onboarding tasks, including your background check process and orientation schedule.
  • If needed, a member of our HR team will reach out regarding your employment visa process.
