Kunimatsu Hashimoto

Staff Research Engineer

Kunimatsu Hashimoto is a staff research engineer on the Dexterous Manipulation team within the Robotics division at Toyota Research Institute (TRI).

Hashimoto received a master's degree in electrical and electronic engineering from Kyushu University, Japan in 2002. He then joined Toyota Motor Corporation where he was involved in various robotics projects for more than a decade, including the Human Support Robot (HSR) project, where he served as a lead of the perception team.
