Dr. Linda Hung is a manager in the Energy & Materials division at Toyota Research Institute (TRI). Dr. Hung's current work integrates machine learning with materials science simulation and high-throughput experiment datasets, with the goals of shortening the discovery timeline and improving the fundamental understanding of materials.

Dr. Hung has a background in computational materials science, with a focus on density functional theory, spectroscopy, and high-performance computing. Dr. Hung obtained her Ph.D. in applied and computational mathematics from Princeton University and has held research positions at the Ecole Polytechnique (France), the University of Illinois Chicago, and the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
