Laura Libby is a Manager on the Carbon Neutrality team in the Human-Centered AI division at TRI. She is passionate about bringing behavioral science and AI research out of the lab and into the real world to build technologies that are better for people and society.

Prior to TRI, Laura was an Applied Behavioral Data Scientist at Uber, working on rider products, and a Product Data Scientist at Meta, working on messaging and video calling. She holds a B.S. in Human Development from Cornell University and a Ph.D. in Cognitive Neuroscience from the University of California, Davis. Her doctoral work, supported by the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program, used fMRI to study how cortical-hippocampal networks in the human brain support different aspects of memory.
