Dr. Laura Libby is a staff behavioral scientist in the Human-Centered AI division at Toyota Research Institute (TRI). She is passionate about translating behavioral science to consumer product development to build things that are better for people and society.

Prior to TRI, Dr. Libby was an applied behavioral data scientist at Uber working on rider products and a product data scientist at Meta working on messaging and video calling. She holds a B.S. in human development from Cornell University and a Ph.D. in cognitive neuroscience from University of California, Davis. Her doctoral work, supported by the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program, used fMRI to study how cortical-hippocampal networks in the human brain support different aspects of memory.
