Dr. Haeyeon Lee is the senior coordinator of the Opportunity Discovery and Technology Adoption (ODTA) team at Toyota Research Institute (TRI). The goal of ODTA is to successfully transfer TRI's capability into Toyota's businesses. The J-staff plays a major role in building and expanding the strong bridge between TRI and the Toyota partners looking to adopt the technology developed at TRI. 

Prior to TRI, Dr. Lee had experience in Woven City for Service Planning, especially Toyota Smart Logistic, Physical Security, and Inventor Platform. She also worked in the New Business Planning division and R-Frontier developing the intelligence for the partner Robots in TMC. Dr. Lee got her Ph.D. in artificial intelligence from Tohoku University and, at TMC, developed the human-robot interaction and knowledge-based intelligence which was applicable for object recognition and dialogue systems.
