ANN ARBOR, Mich. - Dr. Ryan Eustice, TRI Senior Vice President of Automated Driving and Professor in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering as well as Core Faculty in Robotics at the University of Michigan (U-M) presents "AI Guarding the Human: Toyota's Guardian Approach to Automated Driving." During the presentation, Dr. Eustice shares his personal journey working on automated driving technology, introduces the TRI development team, explains TRI's unique emphasis on the Toyota Guardian approach to automated driving and gives visual examples of how Guardian works. He concludes with where the technology is headed.
